Silicon is one of the most abundant elements in the Earth's crust, and for solar cells to enter the large-scale market, silicon has become the main material for photovoltaics. Gradually, microelectronics technology is quietly entering aviation, aerospace, industry, agriculture, and national defense, and is also quietly entering every household. However, in the process of producing photovoltaic silicon wafer products, a large amount of wastewater will be discharged. This article will explain the treatment equipment used for photovoltaic silicon wafer wastewater.

The main source of wastewater from photovoltaic silicon wafers is photovoltaic silicon wafer wastewater, which includes dilute hydrochloric acid wastewater, silicon containing alkaline wastewater, concentrated hydrofluoric acid wastewater, as well as organic compounds such as isopropanol and ethanol.

The high COD, fluoride ion and acid-base pollution of sewage, among which the wastewater containing isopropanol is one of the difficulties in treatment.

Due to the high concentration of organic wastewater in photovoltaic silicon wafer wastewater, water pretreatment is generally required, using the Fenton method. After Fenton pretreatment, most of the COD in the wastewater can be removed.

After pretreatment, COD high concentration organic wastewater is subjected to biological treatment, which adopts the method of "hydrolysis acidification+biological contact oxidation".

Calcium salt precipitation method should be used for acid-base fluorine-containing wastewater. Lime milk or calcium chloride should be added to the wastewater to generate CaF2 precipitation for removal. For high concentration fluorine-containing wastewater, it is recommended to use calcium salt precipitation method.

In addition to the above methods, MVR evaporator equipment can also be used. MVR evaporator is mainly composed of preheater, heat exchanger, separator, steam compressor, vacuum pump, circulation pump, operating platform, control cabinet and other accessories.

The advantage of using an evaporator is that the heat generated by the condenser during equipment evaporation and distillation can be recovered and used for the evaporation process.
